gotta say that the giant batting helmets look pretty rediculous

I think it might be a new deal in the minors--the oversized protective batting helmets. The backup catcher for the Yanks wears one now after he was HBP during spring training...

yeah i noticed. certain guys in the bigs where them but they do look wwwwaaaaaaayyyyyy too big. i remember hearing that they are mandatory in the minors though

minor league news
if you were hoping to see strasburg forget it...he just got his ticket to aaa
the midwest league just had its 3rd no no...so either that league has become like the eastern, or they have some really good pitching
decker and the former defenders now on the grizzlies have turned that org around...they beat the a's aaa club 2x in a row...first time in their history
