Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

I played basketball there for Gilbert High in the Class B play-off in 19??. Three things I remember; 1) The floor was awful. It was like dribbling on a sponge. 2) You could hardly see the spectators in the upper rows because of the cigarette smoke. 3) There is no way to describe the locker room and showers on a family blog.
Fortunately the finals (which we lost) were at Payne Whitney.
