Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Tigers lose 9-5 to the Renegades tonight...

in New York. A six run second inning outburst by Hudson Valley against CT starter Josue Carreno (1-3) put the Tigers in a hole they couldn't climb out of. Chris Sedon hit his first homer of the season for Connecticut, a two run blast in a 4 run third inning. Matt Perry added a RBI single in the fourth inning to make it 6-5 Hudson Valley, but that was as close as the Tigers would come. CT loses it's second game in a row and falls back to the .500 mark at 15-15. The Tigers will try to salvage one game of the three game set Monday.
