Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Tigers win 8-2 and sweep back into first place...

tonight in Vermont. James Robbins goes 2 for 5 and knocks in three runs, two on his third homer of the season. Ryan Soares goes 3 for 5 with a pair of RBIs as CT comes into Vermont down three games to the first place Lake Monsters and leave Burlington now in a first place tie. Tri-City losses and they are a half game back in the division as both VT and CT are at the .500 mark.
Patrick Lawson (5 IP, 1 hit, 2 runs and 6 BBs) gets the win to even his record at 3-3. Tyler Clark and Drew Gagnier combine on the one hitter out of the Ct bullpen.

I sure hope this will happen again when they head down to Aberdeen, MD for their next and final road trip this season.
