Tigers win again 7-3 in Vermont....

as Ryan Enos hit a two run homer in the first and the Tigers never looked back tonight. It was Enos's third homer of the season and I can't remember the last CT homer. The Tigers added three more runs in the third on a RBI single by Alexander Nunez and a two run single by J-Rod.
Meanwhile Clemente Mendoza pitched 6 innings in earning to improve to 6-5. Miguel Nejia was lights out in relief throwing 3 innings of no hit relief to notch his first save.
With Vermont and Tri-City losing tonight Connecticut is in third place a half game behind Tri-City and a game behind division leader Vermont; a game separates three teams fighting for first place.
