Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

hope that if they do make the playoffs, the community goes out to support them
and i hope that the new owners spend the entire offseason working on new ways to bring fans to the park
guess they will start off with a new name contest, and then a design the hat contest

the ct thorns...as norwich is known as the rose of ct

bacci--I really like that suggestion for the name...I have a feeling however the team name stays the same...they do have a rose patch on the uniform for the city of Norwich but I think there is room for some redesign on the cap or maybe an alternate uniform...
the whole deal about the cap is a post I'm working on...
