Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Tigers rally and beat the Ironbirds in 10 innings 3-2...

as PJ Polk singled in Dixon Machado with the winning run. Polk went 3 for 5 with two RBIs and the newcomer Machado went 2 for 4 with two runs scored.
Tim Mowry gets the win to improve to 2-0 on the season. Another newcomer, Wilsen Palacios was impressive throwing 4 innings of shutout ball in relief of CT starter Patrick Lawson.
CT remains a half game behind Tri-City who also won tonight and VT is on the verge of a DH sweep so a half gamemight separate the three teams with four games left in the season.

Surprise, surprise. I thought you would notice me as a Tigers batboy. I forgot to tell you this before Monday's game against Brooklyn. I'll be the batboy for the remainder of this season, including the playoffs (if they get there).
