Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team.
We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Got to admit I'm looking forward....
to this upcoming WS a lot despite the Yanks not being in it.
The Giant roster clearly (to me anyways) vindicates Dodd as being the Hell hole so many in SF claimed it was. Only three position players roamed Dodd; TI, Nate and Pablo and each is a role player. As a couple of us sensed, the rest weren't that good. Of course, the door is still open for some to eventually play in the Phone Booth.
The strength of the Navigators/Defenders from day one was pitching and the staff has five Norwich alumni, three starters and two relievers.
I'm not sure how much of the Series I'll watch. The games take too damn long to play. But I'll pop in from time to time, checking the score.

From the link "The Tigers will play five Friday night games during the summer of 2011, as well as seven Saturdays and seven Sundays. Some notable series include July 2 - July 3 against the Lowell Spinners; July 9 -July 11 against the Brooklyn Cyclones; August 17 - August 19 against the Staten Island Yankees; and September 2 - September 4 against the Lowell Spinners."
I've been following the Giants since they won 5 consecutive games to start off the 2010 season. This'll be like (me) following the Pittsburgh Penguins throughout the 2008-2009 season before they won their Stanley Cup title. Hopefully the Giants would perform exactly like the 2008-09 Penguins this season.
