Thoughts and pictures of my local minor league baseball team the New York Penn League Connecticut Tigers; a Detriot farm team. We'll still be looking at former Navigators/Defenders players along the way....

Off to NB this AM for my first game of the season. Not too "into" it this year, not sure why, but I'm sure missing old friends from Dodd has something to do with it.

Froze my "behind" off today. It was 43 to 45 from the start. A damp. dank, crummy day. Kept waiting for Bob P to tell me to head up to Lou's, but he never appeared.
My neighbor, Jamie, and I noticed how much the strike zone had expanded by the 6th inning. All the batters were bitching and we were non-stop laughing.
Today, New Britain was equal to an early season game at Dodd. What really irked me was the morning weatherman was predicting temps in the 60's. I'd like to give that "person' my opinion on his prognosticating.
