Tigers blank ValleyCats 6-0 behind...

a 11 hit attack. Patrick Leyland, Detriot Tigers manager Jim Leyland son, went 2 for 5 with a pair of RBIs in his season debut.
Tigers starter Tyler Berrett went 5 IP to pick up his first win. The 6-5 Tigers return to Dodd Wednesday to face the Vermont Lake Monsters.
