Belated news as former Navigator Brad Hennessey

was signed by the Orioles earlier this week. He joins another former Navigator Brian Burres on the O's staff.
Brad who is pictured in a Giants "Turn back the Clock" uniform piched in Norwich in the '04 season. This picture was taken June 6, 2005 a game the Navs won beating the Thunder 7-5. Brian was here in the '05 season. Brian's picture is from a game played on June 16, 2005 a 4-2 Curve victory.
Burres went 6IP in the game giving up an unearned run on 5 hits and 6 Ks. The bulpen gave up the game in the 9th as the Curve pushed across three runs.
Milb.com has a nice feature that allows you to access boxscores from prior seasons. Just click the scorebox tab and a calender will pop up. Click "previous" until you get to your desired date. It goes back to the 2005 season.
Another thing I discovered today when searching for the game dates on Brian and Brad's pictures is that at a picture a day this blog could go on for a long, long time since I've been taking game pictures since 2002.

The RockCats will likely lose their hometown newspaper before the '09 season starts.
