heading into the begining of April, Opening Day in Norwich would be weighing alot on my mind....

The New London Day is reporting that the Tigers Sat. June 26 Home Opener will start at 7PM (not 6:30PM as I was hoping). A press conference is scheduled at 12:30 this coming Thursday, April 1st to unveil the logo and present ticket info. Also a couple of meet and greets in the form of "town hall meetings" will be held in Norwich and New London in the coming weeks which is a nice touch. I hope they expand their sights a bit farther west and north as well.
Don't know if I'm hitting the press conference Thursday yet....

the relocation has been approved by Milb today nearly two months after the Jan. 28 press conference announcing the move from Oneonta. About time.....

Let me renew my cry for the team to keep the same game starting times as the last couple of years (M-Sat @ 6:30 and Sunday @ 1:05) and for them to apply for the NYPL All-Star Game in 2012.

Anyone getting antsy for some milb? I am, and the end of June is nowhere in sight for me...I've found myself watching spring training games...at least the UCONN women and March Madness in general will carry me thru the balance of this month.....

I'm sure the powers to be will finally sign off on the CT Tigers one of these days...
